Step into a cozy, wine-filled soirée where French art, culture, and community take center stage in a casual, fun environment.
In celebration of the Mois de la Francophonie, the March edition of the Salon des Arts will be a special highlight of la musique française. Join us for a 1-hour piano concert by Luke Raffanti, followed by time to connect and mingle.
The program invites listeners to enjoy a selection of works by French composers, including Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, and Gabriel Fauré, as well as Frédéric Chopin (who, though not French, remains closely associated with the French piano tradition). Perfect for classical music lovers and newcomers alike, this concert promises an evening that celebrates the enduring legacy of these master composers.
At the heart of the evening is community: a relaxed, open space for French speakers and enthusiasts of all levels to connect, converse, and enjoy classical music in a convivial atmosphere.
Whether you're here to listen to the concert, to practice your French, or simply to enjoy good company, Salon des Arts offers a unique space to engage with the richness of francophone culture.
While tickets for this evening filled with classical music by French composers are free through AFSeattle, the recommended donation to the artist is $20 per person.
Join us at the home of AFSeattle members, Micaiah Evans and Kate Gentry, to meet other Francophiles and learn more about various French-speaking cultures!
